Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney (born Amal Ramzi alamuddin) is a Lebanese/British lawyer, human rights activist and charity philanthropist. She graduated from Oxford University and New York University School of Law her extensive and impressive professional career in the field of international law and human rights has won her international recognition. The most notable clients she has worked with are various nations, including Armenia which is trying to convince the Turkish government to recognize the Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney became engaged to and married American actor George Clooney in 2014 instantly becoming a household name within pop media. In the years prior to this she was respected and admired in the legal world due to her accomplishments in defending clients. It is her job to represent multinational companies during court hearings and discussions about government regulation, and also human rights or social justice. Since 2015, she was a barrister at British Court at Doughty Street Chambers.
