Aisling Bea

Aisling was born on 16 March 1984, at Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's most successful and well-known comedians. The comedian has appeared on QI along with Stephen Fry. Bea's career began in the year 2011 when she began her career as a comic following her appearance in a few part in Irish and British TV series starting in 2009. In 2012 Bea began appearing on sketch comedy shows or sitcoms. After she won an award at Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA) in 2012, she began appearing frequently in panel programs. In 2016 and 2017 she was the team leader for 8 Out of 10 Cats. Additionally, she was an actress on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents include Brian and Helen O'Sullivan. She has an older sister named Sinead. She was the only female winner of So You Think You're Funny in 2012. Bea is her name in honor of her deceased father. Aisling Cliodhnadh, born March 16, 1984, in Kildare Town in County Kildare. Bea's father Brian passed away at age three. He was a horse vet. Bea wasn't told the specifics of his passing to death until she was 13 years old. Bea was her stage name. Bea is a tribute to her father. She was the author of an opinion piece for The Guardian, published in 2017, about her experience dealing with suicide. Bea was raised alongside her younger sister Sinead by Helen Moloney. Helen is a secondary teacher, jockey trainer, and former professional racer. The family was obsessed with horses and race meetings. Bea was a guide for her family's involvement at the Irish National Stud in her early teens. However, she knew that it wasn't what she wanted to do for a living and that she was more interested in doing.
